ReplyPerhaps, a Straussian reading of this would be that, Nolan indeed trying to point out this exact thing, of how consumed we become by our own narratives, that we forget to take into account the people on the recieving end of the attrocities.3/5
And wants us to realize this, by tricking us into supporting the same crimes we were appalled by, when we saw the sacking of Troy. And wants us to realize how difficult it is to see through this duality.4/5
